This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy outlines how we respond to claims of copyright infringement and how rights holders can submit a valid takedown notice. We are committed to complying fully with the provisions of the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512.

If you believe that content published on SupplementResult.com infringes upon your copyright or the copyright of someone you are authorised to represent, please follow the procedures described below. Providing a complete and accurate notice ensures we can act promptly and effectively.

Our Respect for Copyright

All original content published on Supplement Result — including articles, reviews, product comparisons, graphics, photography, and research summaries — is the intellectual property of Supplement Result or its licensed contributors. We take content ownership seriously and invest significant resources in producing accurate, well-researched health and supplement information for our readers.

We equally respect the rights of external copyright holders. We do not knowingly publish, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted material without authorisation. If infringing content has appeared on our website — whether submitted by a third party, embedded inadvertently, or included through any other means — we will take swift corrective action upon receiving a valid DMCA notice that meets the statutory requirements set out below.

How to Submit a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a copyright infringement claim, your written notice must be submitted to our designated DMCA agent (contact details provided at the end of this page) and must include all of the following required elements as mandated by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  • 1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: Provide a clear and specific description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, include a representative list of those works. Include any registration numbers, publication dates, or URLs to original works where available.
  • 2. Location of the Infringing Material: Provide the exact URL(s) or a sufficiently detailed description of the location of the allegedly infringing material on SupplementResult.com. This must be specific enough to allow us to identify and locate the content in question without undue difficulty.
  • 3. Your Contact Information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and a working email address so that we or the alleged infringer can contact you directly regarding the claim.
  • 4. Good Faith Statement: Include a written statement confirming that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • 5. Accuracy Statement: Include a written statement declaring, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner whose rights have allegedly been infringed.
  • 6. Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature. An electronic signature may consist of your full legal name typed at the bottom of the notice, provided it is submitted with the intent to serve as a signature.

Notices that are incomplete, vague, or fail to include any of the above elements may not be actionable under the DMCA and may be disregarded. We strongly recommend consulting with a legal professional before submitting a takedown notice if you are uncertain about any of the required elements.

Our Response Process and Timeline

Once a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice is received by our designated DMCA agent, we will follow this process:

Please note that filing a false or misleading DMCA takedown notice may expose you to civil liability, including damages, attorney's fees, and other penalties under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). We reserve the right to seek appropriate remedies in cases of abuse of the DMCA process.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you are a user or contributor whose content has been removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was made in error — for example, because the content was removed by mistake or because you have the right or licence to use the material — you may file a counter-notice with our designated DMCA agent.

A valid counter-notice must include all of the following elements, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):

  • Identification of Removed Material: A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the URL or location where it appeared on SupplementResult.com before it was removed.
  • Good Faith Statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, any judicial district in which Supplement Result may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
  • Your Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complainant and inform them that we intend to restore the removed material within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking an order to restrain you from engaging in the infringing activity. If no such court action is filed, we will restore the removed or disabled material within the timeframe noted above.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Supplement Result maintains a strict repeat infringer policy in accordance with the requirements of the DMCA and as a condition of our safe harbour protections under 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

We track all valid DMCA takedown notices associated with content submitted by users, contributors, and third parties. The following policy applies to repeat infringers:

Supplement Result reserves the right to terminate access to its platform, services, or any affiliated accounts for any user who, in our sole and reasonable discretion, is determined to be a repeat copyright infringer, regardless of whether formal DMCA notices have been received. We may exercise this discretion at any stage of the above process if the pattern of infringement is sufficiently clear.

Nothing in this policy limits our right to take immediate action — including immediate termination — in cases where we believe the infringement is intentional, egregious, or harmful to the rights of copyright owners or to the integrity of our platform.
